Over the net – passing and pepper

Develops ball control and footwork while increasing heart rate. Encourages good up and down trajectory.

Set up

# of players : 2-12 players
Ideal : 2 players
Equipment : 1 ball per pair
Average duration : 10-15 minutes

Description

  • Athletes are facing each other at the opposite side of the net. Player 1 starts at the baseline and runs at the 3m line.
  • Player 1 throws the ball over the net to Player 2.
  • Normally this series starts with passing to yourself and setting to player 2. P1 runs back again to the baseline and starts over.

Evaluation : # of reps (ex. 2 sets of 5) or # of time (ex. 4 min)
