This drill allows individual athletes to compete against each other in a normal game setting. Additionally, each athlete knows that they will be receiving consecutive serves until they loose the rally so this drill contains a different element of challenge and pressure than a normal game.

Get practice timing the run through pass, which is essentially passing the ball while on the move. In most cases it is recommended that athletes move early to the ball and get into a stable and relatively stationary position when passing the ball but there are instances in a game when a run through pass is appropriate.
The objective of this drill is to reinforce defensive movement to line and across court angle cut shot and the plays that result.
